Interestingly,

  • He is one of only a few external psychologists ever to be allowed to study astronauts on the 2008 NASA Space Programme.
  • Jamil has talked to an audience that included two former US presidents at the K Club in Ireland!
  • Jamil was chosen as the supporting speaker to Tony Robbins at his Dublin event.
  • Jamil’s versatility is illustrated by the fact he has talked at NASDAQ in New York where he shared a stage with General Peter Pace, Joint Chief of Staff, the highest ranking military officer in the whole of the US armed forces, and next day did stand up in front of a celebrity audience at the Groucho Club!
  • He once spoke in six countries in two days!
Jamil closed our annual conference with a clever mixture of humour and physiological insight around the mindset for change. Everyone who attended came away with something that resonated with them – for me it was that “attitude is more important than knowledge or intellect”.
We worked with Jamil Qureshi as part of our annual global customer event, which invites executives from a wide range of industries that we work closely with. Jamil delivered a fantastic talk and workshop that captivated everyone in the room. For us, this event is always about ensuring that C-level attendees take away something tangible to help them lead their companies and teams. This was clearly the case with Jamil’s talk and workshop.
Jamil is not your conventional inspirational speaker. But he has more impact than many I have seen. Great content, insights and actionable tips backed up by his professional expertise. An evident expert in performance enhancing psychology and building high performing teams. His use of a flip chart rather than a slide deck echoes his relaxed confident style. Recommended without hesitation.
I was privileged to attend a session Jamil ran on the psychology of high performance. He is an excellent speaker and has the special ability to connect deeply with his audience through an informal, fun and engaging style. His message about the ingredients of high performance is profound but he delivers it through stories which makes it highly accessible and relevant. I have heard many different speakers over the years and would not hesitate to recommend Jamil as one of the very best I’ve come across.
Jamil ran a great session for us last week. Not only was it the biggest paper, scissor, stone flash mob I’ve seen (not an everyday occurrence to be fair), but it also had all of us thinking about how important attitude is, and that it’s how we respond to events that matters, not what the events are per se. That, plus his rogue monkey analogy (which has since been scribbled on the office wall!) made it a very fun and inspiring session.
Jamil’s experience, background, perspective and success is impressive. He is incredibly easy to engage and work with and his delivery style is very engaging for any audience. I would recommend Jamil to anyone that needs to change how their team or company thinks about achieving Peak Performance.
