She has vast experience of delivering flood risk management projects, managing people, supervising engineers, influencing policy through key committees, and advocating for sustainability. She is a sought-after speaker on technology, sustainability, engineering, innovation etc.
Ayo is a BBC Broadcaster, featuring most prominently as the co-presenter on CBeebies’ Get Set Galactic – an entertaining, science-based immersive gameshow, exploring themes from gravity and the Solar System to pollination, energy and much more, showcasing her love of working with children and sharing the joys of scientific learning, exploration and experimentation. Ayo has presented for BBC Reel and BBC Bitesize as well as documentaries for the Smithsonian, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Yesterday TV and Channel 5. In addition to presenting for commercial clients such as ITN and Trimble.
She presents and produces STEM content for corporate clients. She is the Creator and Host of the Wednesday Wisdoms Series/Podcast & Everyday Science Series.
Ayo is a Former Councillor and Deputy Mayor of Reading, where she founded Plastic Free Caversham which achieved single plastic free accreditation for Caversham in 2022.
She is Executive Coach working with successful professional who have reached a crossroads to get back into alignment with their values, utilising their unique strengths, interests, and neurology. She has a diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome and is an empathetic and inspirational keynote speaker on neurodiversity and mental health.

Ayo is a non-linear thinker, generalist with an eclectic background littered with interests and successes, from pageantry where she was Miss Plymouth 2012/2013, Miss Sussex 2013/14, Miss East Sussex 2014/15 and finalist for Miss Galaxy England, Miss Earth and Miss Great Britain, using the platform to support social enterprises and charity, to dancing and horse-riding.
She was nominated Top 50 women in engineering in 2017, was the ICE President’s future Leader in 2018 and was made an animated superhero named Eco Angel to reflect her work in flood risk, protecting communities.
