Michelle Visage

Michelle Visage has been a leading presenter, performer and radio DJ for over thirty years. Known for her outgoing, and vivacious personality, the iconic star has effortlessly manoeuvred the entertainment industry from Top 20 chart hits as a singer, to award-winning presenting roles, Michelle dominates with her decades of talent.

With such a prestigious public profile, Michelle is perfectly placed as a celebrity guest, able to build the buzz around an event, or as an instantly recognisable after-dinner speaker, armed with entertaining anecdotes from her career.

Currently a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Michelle’s experience in the industry, with performance, fashion and glamour, has seen her become a stand out of the series, selected to star in the UK and All-Stars version. Her screen dynamic with RuPaul is one of fan’s most loved elements of the show, and has been developed through decades of authentic friendship, as she previously co-hosted The RuPaul Show in the ‘90s. Since the third series in 2011, Visage has served as a judge, and taking on the additional role of Executive Producer, saw her awarded the 2019 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Competition Programme.

Moving to New York after graduating in 1986, Michelle had visions of a career in entertainment, and pursued connections in the drag community, becoming the first person to showcase the dance style of voguing on TV. Firmly establishing herself as a creative, Visage secured a spot in the R&B group, Seduction and later The SOUL SYSTEM with whom she achieved number 1 in the dance chart, and her place as a respected performer.

Now an internationally recognised star, Michelle’s animated personality lends itself to media roles, including as a radio host which she did for 15 years, and television presenter. From the European Song Contest to Ireland’s Got Talent, her extensive work in show business has seen her in high demand to front TV series. In 2015, backed by years of eccentric stories, Visage released her first book ‘The Diva Rules’ proving there are no limits to her versatility, in 2018 she made her stage debut in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
