Dan Figueiredo is a decorated technology strategist with over two decades of experience leading business transformation through innovation, data, and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as Global AI Technology Strategist at Microsoft, Dan is instrumental in helping organisations across the public, private, and social sectors harness the power of AI to solve complex challenges. Working closely with Microsoft’s partner ecosystem, he enables the design and delivery of cutting-edge cloud solutions that drive impact and ensure customer success. Dan’s career began at media bureau as Nurse Screenings Manager, swiftly progressing through increasingly senior roles across the technology sector. He gained early technical expertise as IT Engineer at Hamptons International before transitioning into service leadership roles such as IT Services Delivery Manager at GFM and Service Delivery Manager at One Advanced. His ability to navigate complex operations and deliver customer-centric solutions led to further success as Head of Client Services at Cisilion and Managing Business Consultant at Nasstar, where he was recognised for his strategic insight and operational rigour. Alongside his corporate achievements, Dan is deeply committed to social equity in tech and serves as Partnership Lead of the Technology Community for Racial Equality, a coalition of the UK’s leading tech companies working to increase diversity and eliminate racial discrimination in the industry.

An advocate for continuous learning, Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from the University of Westminster and an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business & Technology. He has earned multiple certifications including Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified Trainer, and Azure AI Fundamentals. At Microsoft, Dan has spearheaded several high-impact initiatives, including the transformation of the Big 4’s Microsoft Go To Market strategy and the creation of a national mentoring community within Microsoft UK.
