Scott Leiper

Having started his career in retail, Scott has held a diverse range of multi-site operational and learning development roles before spending 5 years with The Co-operative group. Over the last 16 years as a consultant, Scott has provided services for 100’s of different organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors. ​

He passionately believes in making digital spaces more human. His facilitation style is best described as engaging, practical and human, whilst his creative and inclusive thinking encourages and inspires people. He believes we should always question our possible and scare ourselves a little every day.​

Scott is a contributor and speaker to the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development. This enables him to keep pace with the fast-changing world of learning and development. He also consults for the institute as an expert in learning design, delivery and all aspects of development architecture. ​

Scott is equally at home designing as he is facilitating growth. He ghost-writes learning content for many organisations and loves to create an abundance of thought-provoking and unique resources that enable people to turn their learning into results, co-designing many of Raise the Bar’s Apprenticeship solutions. ​

Scott is also is an accredited DiSC practitioner and skilled in the provision of a full psychometric profiling services. ​

In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Leiper co-founded Virtual Punks, a virtual events business creating more meaningful digital experiences. Hosting virtual Christmas office parties and festivals of learning along with fellow Raise the Bar Consultant Kirsty Mac. He also founded and co-created Kindfest, a global virtual celebration and education of workplace kindness. Kindfest raised thousands for charity and helped spread ripples of kindness into their communities and make a positive difference.​

In October 2021, Scott was named in HR Magazine’s Most Influential Thinkers List.
