As Global Chief Privacy & AI Governance Officer at one of the world’s leading technology and consulting companies, Ivana sets the standard for how AI should be developed, deployed, and governed at scale — embedding ethical principles, legal safeguards, and privacy into the very heart of technology.

Her influence extends far beyond the corporate world. She serves as an expert for the Council of Europe, where she co-authored a pivotal study on the impact of artificial intelligence on gender equality and discrimination.. She is the founder and director of the influential Women Leading in AI network, uniting female thinkers, scientists, academics, business leaders, and politicians to shape the future of AI on a global scale.

Ivana has held a Visiting Policy Fellowship at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford, and was appointed as the inaugural Visiting Cybersecurity and Privacy Executive Fellow at Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business.

She is the author of An Artificial Revolution: On Power, Politics and AI, co-editor of Wiley’s The AI Book for investors and fintech innovators, and author of A Digital Union: Based on European Values, exploring the future of Europe’s digital and AI policy landscape.

In 2022, Ivana received the Privacy Leader of the Year Award and was named Cybersecurity Woman of the Year in 2019.
