David MacLeod OBE

David inspires audiences to engage all employees in pursuit of the organisation’s goals and to deliver value to all its stakeholders.  His insights and examples are drawn from extensive research which enabled him to co-author the ‘MacLeod Report’ for the Government on the topic of employee engagement, described by the CMI as the definitive work on the subject. He co-chairs the employee engagement Task Force launched by the Prime Minister.

His many years’ experience as a senior marketer and then CEO ensures that, while he is inspiring, he is also very practical so the ideas he offers are readily adoptable in the workplace. David has worked in manufacturing and in the service sector whilst his experience of the public sector comes from having spent one and a half years in the Cabinet Office and his having been an NED of three Government departments. David was awarded an OBE in 2013 for his services to employee engagement and business.

In his presentations, David shares his wealth of knowledge with his audience, applying his findings to the client’s situation.
