Samantha has been a journalist and broadcaster for more than 20 years – she is currently presenting for the BBC where she presents BBC 1 bulletins, Politics London on BBC One, BBC London News the BBC news channel and BBC Business programmes.
Samantha has also presented a BBC Radio 4 series and has had her own podcast. Samantha covers the big breaking stories of the day from the war in Ukraine to the death of Queen Elizabeth. She interviews senior politicians and high profile business leaders.
Samantha previously presented on Sky News for more than a decade, anchoring coverage of some of the biggest stories of recent years. These included the murder of British MP Jo Cox, the EU referendum live from Gibraltar, several general elections and the terror attacks in Tunisia and Brussels.
Samantha loves the challenge of handling live breaking news and dealing with the biggest events of the day – interviewing senior politicians, business leaders, celebrities and ordinary people often at the centre of shocking events.

Her conference and event hosting includes hosting the launch of Verizon’s 5G lab in London and compering the Qatar-UK business investment forum alongside the British and Qatari Prime Ministers. She has also hosted the regional investment fund forum for the Department of International Trade, the Sainsbury’s Living Well Forum alongside it’s CEO, the Police Federation Conference and Hewlett Packard’s prestigious 100 Club in Barcelona.
