Former undefeated WBO World Champion boxer Johnny Nelson MBE is a British boxing pundit, and former professional boxer who competed from 1986 to 2005. He held the WBO cruiserweight title from 1999 to 2006 and remains the longest reigning cruiserweight world champion of all time.
He is an established event host and motivational speaker, and this month launched the Johnny Nelson Foundation to support youngsters and their families aligned to his recent MBE award for services to young people and boxing in Yorkshire.
Passionate about fitness, wellbeing, and mindset, prior to Sky Sports, Johnny worked for the BBC across human interest stories and documentaries. And has recently completed filming a new Netflix boxing documentary that will launch later this year.
His motto is ‘Find A Way’. He’s committed to encouraging conversations around self-belief, diversity & inclusion and overcoming challenges.
