Jenny Meadows is firmly established as one of Britain’s leading female athletes. She has represented Great Britain since 2000 when as part of Great Britain Juniors 4x400m relay team they became World Junior Champions.
In 2008 Jenny won the European Team Cup and was part of the Olympic team in Beijing. Jenny then set about establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with not only on the national circuit but on the international arena at large.
Her break through came at the 2009 World Outdoor Championships in Berlin where she won a magnificent bronze medal in a life-time best and became the 3rd fastest British woman of all time. Since Berlin, Jenny has gone from strength to strength; improving her indoor personal best at the World Indoor Championships in Doha where she was awarded the captaincy of the Great Britain team and claimed the Silver medal. After cruel injuries in 2012 and 2013, Jenny was forced to miss competing in her hometown, but made a return to competitive action to become a Commonwealth Games finalist in 2014 and the world leader in the women’s 800m indoors in 2015.
Jenny is well experienced in delivering both guest and keynote speeches having worked extensively with both sporting organisations and corporate clients. She is diligent to make sure that she fully understands the brief and matches her delivery to the need and values of the client or organisation.
Jenny also speaks at education events, she delivers a heart-felt presentation about how she became involved in sport, and her journey to the very top. She shares her highs and low’s, the importance of balancing sport, education and life, and encourages pupil’s to be ambitious and raise their own level of performance both inside and outside the classroom.
