He later diversified his career to radio presenting, creating It’s Been a Bad Week and The Now Show, with the latter still airing on Radio 4 regularly. Famed for his satirical comedy style, arguably Hugh’s most loved role was in Outnumbered, which started in 2014. The show was nominated for a BAFTA, and led Hugh to star in Not Going Out, Fleabag and, recently in 2019, as a narrator on Yorkshire Airport.
