A former abuse victim and foster kid from Compton who taught himself how to code at age 8, he has received numerous awards for his work in the tech industry and has worked with many organisations and Fortune 500 companies.

Anthony’s journey from Compton to Google as one of its few Black software engineers was featured in a viral BuzzFeed documentary in 2018. After spending eight years at Google, he left the company in early 2022 to pursue full-time entrepreneurship as founder of Morgan Latimer Consulting in order to bridge the gap between the underrepresented and companies looking to hire exceptional talent.

Mays is known for weaving his inspirational story of perseverance into rich conversations about inclusion in tech.

Now a full-time founder, consultant, career coach at Morgan Latimer Consulting, he works with candidates and companies to improve representation in tech through coaching, advising, and consulting.​
