International Men’s Day: Why This Conversation Matters

19 November 2025

International Men’s Day is a vital moment to recognise the challenges men face across health, wellbeing, identity and performance. Globally, men are still less likely to seek support, more likely to struggle in silence and disproportionately impacted by mental health issues. This day matters because every organisation has a responsibility to create environments where men feel able to speak honestly, access support and thrive.

Raise the Bar Client Solutions Consultant, Adam Benson: “Men’s health is something we talk about far less than we really should, especially in the workplace where pressure and pace can make honest conversations difficult.

To mark international men’s day and men’s health awareness, we brought our whole RTB team together for a men’s health learning session that opened up space to share, listen, learn and reflect.

“What became clear very quickly is that a lot of men carry stress quietly and feel unsure about how to speak up.

This forms an important part of why we work closely with our speakers to bring real experience, practical tools and a human first approach to the toughest conversations. Helping teams understand resilience, pressure and what genuine support looks like during change”

At Raise the Bar, our speakers bring these conversations to life with honesty, clarity and impact. They open up topics that too often stay hidden, and they give teams the insight, language and confidence to support themselves and the men around them. Every event becomes a catalyst for better conversations, better awareness and stronger, healthier cultures.

Men’s health is not a niche concern. It influences performance, morale, psychological safety and the wellbeing of entire teams. When workplaces raise awareness of physical health, mental health and emotional resilience, they remove stigma and strengthen the people who drive their business forward. Our speakers shape these conversations in a way that is practical, human and genuinely transformational.
