Scott Heffield

After leaving school just days after his 16th birthday, with no qualifications, Scott Heffield cemented his future and formed his skill-base foundations by joining the Royal Marines only 3 months later.

He then served as a Commando in the Royal Marines seeing active service around the globe and finishing his service as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI), responsible for training the Royal Marine Commando recruits, trained Commandos and members of the Special Forces.

Scott transitioned from military life and joined the Police Service as an Operational Police Officer, later becoming a member of the Police Specialist Support Unit. Scott continued to climb, paddle, fly and ski and put all of his expertise into starting up his own business doing what he loves most – guiding, planning, logistics and leading adventurous expeditions all over the world in extreme environments such as the Jungle, Desert, Mountains, Arctic and Antarctic.

Over the last 15 years Scott has been putting his wealth of experience, knowledge and skills to work and runs specialist conflict resolution training courses for organisations working in hostile environments. More excitingly on British TV, Scott is depicted as a motivational expert for channels such as BBC1, BBC2 and ITV. Behind the camera, Scott puts his experience to good practice as a TV location guide, scout, stunt/activity coordinator, high ropes technician and TV crew safety supervisor on adventure shows such as, ITV’s Bear Grylls Survival School, NBC’s Running Wild, Nat Geo’s Uncharted with Gordon Ramsay and most recently the ground breaking, first ever interactive Netflix series – You Vs Wild with Bear Grylls.

Scott is now part of one of the most successful and highest performing teams in the world, travelling to remote corners of the globe applying his creative flair to design and produce professional, dynamic and exciting journeys for a variety of worldwide Adventure Television Shows.
