Their talks are informative, light-hearted and personal, allowing the audience to be at ease and feel free to ask any questions they might have. By weaving their own personal experienes with the topic, as well as utilising the many stories captured through their film project My Genderation, they are able to give people real and authentic insight into the lives of transgender people and the wider LGBTQIA+ community.

They both also have experience in giving professional advice to charities, businesses and groups on how to make their workplace more inclusive, such as forming inclusive policies, how to support LGBTQIA+ people in the workplace and how to become better allies for your staff.

Fox is an artist, author, film maker and trans campaigner. They are the co-founder of My Genderation, a film project that creates authentic and engaging films about transgender people and the wider LGBTQIA+ community. They are the co-author of The Trans Teen Survival Guide and the Trans Survival Workbook, as well as being the illustrator for the Trans Pride Colouring Book. Fox was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Brighton for their contribution to arts and culture.

Ugla Stefanía Kristjönudóttir Jónsdóttir (Owl) is an author, film maker and trans campaigner. They co-run My Genderation and are a columnist for the Metro, and regularly contribute to various outlets such as the Guardian, The Independent, Vice, iNews and more. They are the co-author of the Trans Teen Survival Guide and the Trans Survival Workbook. In 2019, they were on BBC‘s 100 Women list, where they were listed as one of the most influential women of 2019.
