Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE will open our series with a masterclass in inspiration and high-performance, setting the overall tone for the programme and helping attendees to adopt the right mindset for their journey on Empower. Having captained both England and Great Britain hockey teams for 13 years, Kate will share her unique experience of leading a high performing team in a high stress, high pressure environment.
Part one of the session will see Kate share what she learnt about herself, the importance of trust and authenticity in leadership. The conclusion to part one will be an open conversation where people can ask questions, talk about what resonated or sparked curiosity. Part two of the session will give everyone a chance to explore some of the themes discussed in part one. Together we will set our boundaries and step bravely into discussions on self-awareness, belonging and trust.
