    Session one: The power of mindset - Leading from within

    Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE

    Olympic Gold medal holder and expert in performance, leadership and high performing teams

    Kate Richardson-Walsh OBE will open our series with a masterclass in inspiration and high-performance, setting the overall tone for the programme and helping attendees to adopt the right mindset for their journey on Empower. Having captained both England and Great Britain hockey teams for 13 years, Kate will share her unique experience of leading a high performing team in a high stress, high pressure environment.

    Part one of the session will see Kate share what she learnt about herself, the importance of trust and authenticity in leadership. The conclusion to part one will be an open conversation where people can ask questions, talk about what resonated or sparked curiosity. Part two of the session will give everyone a chance to explore some of the themes discussed in part one. Together we will set our boundaries and step bravely into discussions on self-awareness, belonging and trust.

    This session offers a unique opportunity for participants to connect with their fellow delegates, fostering a network that will support their professional growth well into the future.

    Session two: The future of women in work

    Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE continues our series with a forward-looking session that addresses the evolving roles of women in the workplace, particularly within STEM fields. As a distinguished advocate for education and inclusivity, Anne-Marie sets the tone for a transformative discussion on maximising the potential of women in professional settings. This session offers delegates the opportunity to engage with peers and start building a supportive network that fosters female advancement in their careers and beyond.

    The second part of our session continues the exploration of the future of women at work, led by our programme host Sarah Knight.

    Session four: Championing women in the workplace

    Sara Davies MBE completes our series with an empowering session dedicated to the support and advancement of women in business. As a successful entrepreneur and investor, Sara shares her insights on fostering a culture that champions women’s success. With her extensive experience in nurturing and encouraging female entrepreneurship, this session provides an excellent opportunity for delegates to learn effective strategies and to build a network that promotes female leadership and collaboration.

    The session and programme then concludes with a panel discussion with senior business leaders who have accelerated their careers to the highest levels.
