Environmental & Sustainability Policy

At Raise the Bar we strive to make a positive impact on the communities in which we operate in and the wider
world around us. We strive to create a better future through innovation and creativity in our CSR & ESG
initiatives, developing solutions for social and environmental impact. By staying true to these principles, we
strengthen our community, protect the environment, and uphold our reputation as a responsible and ethical
business.

We know that by conserving natural resources, protecting, and enhancing the environment, and supporting the
communities we serve, we can maintain economic growth and build trust with our clients.

We have identified some key areas of our business that we believe help us to achieve our environmental and
sustainable objectives, and we’re excited to share them with you:

Remote Working: We’ve already made huge strides in reducing our carbon footprint by adopting a remote
working model and limiting all trips into the office. We’re focused on the impact of our energy use and business
travel, and we’re committed to continuing to find ways to reduce our impact.

Virtual Delivery: We’ve moved the delivery of our workshops online, significantly reducing travel needs for all
our clients while on our programs. By embracing digital solutions, we’re making strides towards a more
sustainable future.

Energy Efficiency: We’re committed to continuously improving our energy efficiency and reducing the impact
of our energy use. We care about the long-term environmental, social, and economic effects of all business
decisions. We work closely with our IT provider and Facilities Management provider on energy efficiency.

Responsible Policies: We work closely with our internal and external stakeholders to develop socially and
environmentally responsible policies and practices. We believe that by working together, we can make a bigger
impact.

Paperless Future: We historically used a significant amount of paper for our learning materials and business
activities, but we’ve moved our workforce and all our delivery online, significantly reducing the need for paper
and printing. We promote the use of modern technology and AI tools to reduce the need for paper-based work.

Cycle Scheme: We offer a salary sacrifice cycle scheme for all team members, encouraging them to think about
alternative ways to travel, not just to the office but across all other areas of their life.

Electrifying our Fleet: We’re actively looking at implementing an electric car charging point at our offices and
considering purchasing or leasing electric cars for company use in the future. We’re dreaming big and hoping to
lead the charge towards a greener future.

Environmental Education: To demonstrate our commitment to sustainability, we only provide environmentally
friendly physical items to our learners. As part of our Level 3 and Level 5 Leadership & Management programs,
learners attend bespoke workshops focussed on environmental and sustainability enhancing their
understanding of business responsibilities as well as personal. These resources are also utilised with team
members across the business.

Environmental Management: We’re working towards introducing a recognised environmental management
framework to our business operation. We’re committed to doing our part to protect the environment and
reduce our impact on the planet.

Culture of Sustainability: We communicate this Environmental & Sustainability statement to all team members
and are looking at ways to integrate this further into our working culture. Our goal is to embed sustainable
practices into everything we do, creating a culture of sustainability that will benefit us all both short and long
term.

We’re constantly reviewing ways and means to reduce our environmental impact and carbon footprint and be
more sustainable. We care about the planet, and we’re doing our part to make it a better place for future
generations. Together, we can dream big and aim to make a real difference.
