Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
At Raise the Bar we strive to make a positive impact on the communities in which we operate and the wider world around us. We strive to create a better future through innovation and creativity, developing solutions for social and environmental impact, under the following pillars. By staying true to these principles, we strengthen our community, protect the environment, and uphold our reputation as a responsible and ethical business.
Our Communities
We proactively support causes that are aligned with our business values, interests and beliefs, as well as the values of our team members and key stakeholders.
We offer all team members one day of paid leave per year to volunteer with charitable organisations, community groups, or social initiatives that resonate with their own interests and passions and those of their local community. As well as investing in this to support good causes, we believe this initiative fosters an inclusive culture by: encouraging team members to actively engage in causes that matter to them; raising awareness of a diverse range of causes to our team members improving their knowledge, understanding and diversity of thought; and promoting a sense of belonging and empowerment within our employee community.
Stakeholder Collaboration
We seek out collaboration opportunities with clients and stakeholders whenever possible. Supporting externally driven CSR initiatives, allows us to demonstrate our commitment to sustainable practices, social responsibility, and the power of collective effort to create positive change.
Environmental Responsibilities
We acknowledge our responsibility for our environmental footprint and are proud to implement sustainable practices in our operations. More details can be found in our Environmental & Sustainability policy, such as: our remote working model, which reduces carbon emissions from commuting, and promoting a paperless culture via the use of modern digital technologies.
Business Ethics
We conduct our business with transparent, honest, and fair principles. In our leadership and operations, integrity remains at the forefront of everything we do and we hold these same standards to those whom we partner with. Employee Engagement & Wellbeing
We pride ourselves on empathetic and inclusive leadership; creating a supportive workplace where team members can thrive. We offer a wide range of support to assist our team members to be their best selves so that they can inspire our learners, clients and each other, including; health and wellbeing support, flexible working options, regular feedback mechanisms, and investment in personal and professional development.
We have a number of Employee Resource Groups which create safe spaces for colleagues to access and receive support, whilst also promoting diversity and inclusion, and empowering employees to share their unique perspectives and experiences.
