As our Business Development Manager, you will wear multiple hats, leveraging our platform to sell Leadership & Management Apprenticeships to levy-paying employers and showcasing our unique online programmes. This role encompasses end-to-end business development, from generating leads to sales meetings and securing new clients.

Location: Remote

Salary: up to £40k, realistic OTE of £60k but uncapped

Contract type: Full-time, Permanent

Some of what you’ll be doing:

  • Responding to business-generated opportunities and engaging with employers to drive learner starts on our apprenticeship courses and online programmes.
  • Harnessing our warm, senior-level database to cultivate and convert leads into valuable clients.
  • Proactively cold calling and networking to uncover fresh leads and nurture them into new accounts.
  • Maximising client benefits by cross-selling and upselling our diverse range of propositions.
  • Providing expert guidance on apprenticeship levy and funding options to advise and support clients.
  • Cultivating and strengthening client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborating closely with our marketing team to amplify business development efforts.
  • Facilitating seamless client handovers to our Operations and L&D departments.
  • Working towards monthly and annual targets to drive success.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience within a training provider, specialising in apprenticeship sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of apprenticeship funding and the levy.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills to effectively manage workload.
  • Excellent communication abilities to engage and connect with clients.
  • A team player and relationship builder who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong alignment with our company values.
