Paula Reid

Paula Reid completed the Global Challenge – the world’s ‘toughest yacht race’ circumnavigating the world, in 35,000 miles and ten months. In 2014 she trekked 1,000 km across the frozen Antarctic to the South Pole becoming only the 3rd British woman to achieve this. Paula believes in living life to the full, and has achieved 117 of her ‘things to do before she dies’… so far!

Her books ‘Boat to Boardroom’ and ‘The 7 Racing Rules’ use the Global Challenge as an extreme case study, referencing it to provide lessons and tips in high-performance leadership and teamwork. She has just published her fourth book called Live Life to the Full (the third being ‘World’s Most Dangerous Jobs’) and is undertaking a Masters in Positive Psychology.

Paula is half adventurer, half leadership guru, meaning her talks merge the business world with insight and learnings from the world of adventure.
