Dr Jackson is a serial entrepreneur, business author and Ex Chart-topping rock singer. In the summer of 2001, he made headline news when he turned back from his attempt to climb K2 to save the life of his dying Sherpa, carrying him for four days to safety. The experience inspired him to start the WildHearts Group, which continues to empower tens of thousands of people across the world through entrepreneurship.
As well as being a hugely successful entrepreneur Mick has received numerous awards for his work. He is the second only recipient of the highly prestigious ‘Social Innovator Award’ from Babson College in Boston and is an honorary ‘Doctor of Laws’ from Guelph University Canada. He was also voted Entrepreneur of the Year and Top Scot by the UK public, an honour he shares with JK Rowling and Olympic hero Sir Chris Hoy.
Mick’s talks are completely unique.
