John has enjoyed over 35 years in numerous business leadership roles at both strategic and operational levels. 

His career started in financial services where he achieved many successes as Bank Manager, Financial Consultant, Corporate Adviser and Senior Trainer Analyst at the University for LloydsTSB. He then moved to the Fujitsu group where after only 3 years he was appointed to MD of their learning division, responsible for strategy & growth. At this point he was also a tutor for the Institute of Professional Sales.   

From here he continued his successes as MD of management consultancies as well as a freelance consultant specialising in business transformation programmes. As a highly effective and inspiring facilitator, his work involved group and executive coaching applying his qualifications in leadership, sales excellence, business performance coaching, life coaching, psychometric profiling and financial management to drive his client’s business growth and finesse.

He has supported numerous SME clients and larger corporates including Prudential, Coca Cola, Lloyds, Marks & Spencer, IBM, Orange, Rightmove, BUPA, British Airways, Virgin, Financial Times, O2 and Barclays Group. In 2008, he was a finalist for ‘Sales Trainer of the Year’​ at the British Excellence in Sales & Marketing Awards and delivered his training in the UK and USA.

In 2010 he was interviewed about one of his innovative businesses on BBC Radio 2 and in 2011 he established a market leading estate agency with his wife Alison.

He joined RSL in 2015 as Commercial Director and in 2016 became Sales & Marketing Director at Hunters estate agency. John helped take the business to number one regionally before selling in 2018. 

He now supports clients in leadership, management and revenue growth programmes as well as conducting end point assessments for apprenticeship programmes.
